APPLICATION NOTES / DINING
A place at the table.
A table is measured in more than length and width. It is also the distance between people, chairs and the room around them.

Draw the table within the room.
Before choosing a sintered-stone table top, place its outline on a simple room plan. Include the chairs in use, the route to the kitchen and the nearest door. A shape that looks calm in a photograph may feel very different once people sit down and move around it.
Choose a direction for the pattern.
Look at the complete material face and mark the table outline on it. A long vein may reinforce a rectangular table; a more dispersed pattern may read differently in a round or softly shaped top. Review what will remain after cutting rather than judging only the full slab.
Think about the base as part of the design.
The top, its thickness, the edge, the supporting frame and the base should be considered together. Check legroom and seating positions as well as the visual balance. Do not assume that a slab of a given size can be used as an unsupported tabletop.
From an image to a buildable piece.
Save the material reference, draw the desired outline and show the base you have in mind. Ask for the proposed support and fabrication detail before committing to a finished piece. The living scenes on this site explore a design direction; they are not specifications for a ready-to-order table.
Start with your table.
Tell us your country or city, approximate top dimensions, shape, preferred pattern and whether you already have a base. Add a room photograph if helpful when you continue the conversation on Instagram.
