APPLICATION NOTES / INTERIOR WALLS
A surface that holds a room.
Across a wall, a material becomes part of the architecture. The pattern is read from the doorway, from a chair and up close.

Begin with an elevation.
Draw the full width and height of the interior wall, including doors, switches, sockets and built-in furniture. For a sintered-stone wall-panel layout, that drawing helps establish where the material starts, stops and changes direction.
Compose the full pattern.
Review each available face together rather than repeating a single attractive crop. Check the direction of the pattern, where panels meet and which part will be hidden by furniture. Terms such as continuity or multiple faces should be checked against the actual catalogue layout.
Make the joints intentional.
A wall can be visually continuous while still containing necessary panel joints. Discuss the layout, corner details, substrate and fixing system with the project installer. Required technical details depend on the selected slab and the wall construction.
Balance the surrounding room.
View the material with timber, upholstery and flooring. Give a strong pattern enough space to be legible from a distance. Daylight and wall lighting can change the way the finish appears, so look beyond a single front-on photograph.
Bring the wall into the conversation.
Share a wall elevation or rough dimensions, the room location, neighbouring materials and your preferred catalogue references. This guide concerns interior design planning; exterior, fireplace and other specialised uses need their own product and system review.
